The Association of Union Constructors (TAUC) - Premier national trade association for the union construction industry, representing thousands of contractor companies that utilize union labor for their projects, as well as local contractor associations and vendors in the industrial maintenance and construction fields. TAUC's mission is to act as an advocate for union contractors and enhance cooperation between the tripartite involved in the successful completion of construction projects: the union, the contractor and the owner-client.
General Presidents' Maintenance Committee for Canada/National Maintenance Council for Canada (GPMC/NMC) — Canadian Alliance of International Building Trades Unions that negotiates and administers labor agreements tailored for maintenance work at industrial plants in Canada. The agreements make it possible for industry to employ up to 13 different construction trades under a single set of terms and conditions.
Helmets to Hardhats - National, nonprofit program that connects National Guard, Reserve, retired and transitioning active-duty military service members with skilled training and quality career opportunities in the construction industry. The program is designed to help military service members successfully transition back into civilian life by offering them the means to secure a quality career in the construction industry.
